"Extraordinary first time visit to Zambia"

I visited Zambia between 29 Aug 2018 and 13 Sep 2018
"If anyone were to ask me how I would do it again, I think that I would make the trip a bit shorter and only use the Robin Pope facilities. If I had known how much I was to see in the first 8 days, I would have been happy to shorten the trip. But as a first timer I did not know this. I certainly do not regret the Kafunta add-on to my trip, but it would have been okay without it as the first 8 days were so perfect." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari

"Best.Trip.Ever."

I visited Zambia between 26 Aug 2018 and 14 Sep 2018
"Wow! Spectacular! We had a fantastic 3-week trip with Expert Africa to Botswana and Zambia. When we first had the idea of trying to go to Africa, not knowing where, when, or with which outfitter, Megan Green gave the best, most thorough response to our inquiries. The website was also wonderfully designed with succinct, user-friendly information. The timely correspondence of the staff and the website were huge plusses during our planning phase.

Everything about our itinerary was well designed, and we were never rushed. For example, the night in Jo-burg to rest and explore a bit before flying the next day to Maun to begin our safari was well enjoyed. The night in Livingstone between Botswana and Zambia was also well received and taken advantage of to rest. The camps were also laid out in a manner where it felt like every camp we went to was a little bit more luxurious than the prior one, so it kept feeling like we were spoiled over and over - all of the camps exceeded our expectations as well.

We had zero travel issues, everything ran seamlessly! One issue popped up where our itinerary said alcohol was included at one camp, and the camp staff upon check-in insisted that alcohol is never included there. We emailed Expert Africa and they sorted it out within two hours.

Our safety was never a concern, and the trip kept getting better and better! We highly recommend Expert Africa, and both Botswana and Zambia." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

"A great experience for first walking safari "

I visited Zambia between 24 Aug 2018 and 2 Sep 2018
"Overall the trip was excellent, well run with an excellent team of dedicated staff.

At the mobile camp all the staff were attentive without being overbearing, Kanga is an excellent guide and the tea bearer Geoffrey was always on hand with the ID book to identify what we could not!

Michael the camp manager is extremely personable, always on hand to guide and help.

The back room team produce amazing meals, and to show their versatility they even repaired a clients walking shoes in a professional way.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

You seem to have all bases covered, on the trip we discussed other safari operators and everyone was very impressed with the Expert Africa level of service and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to other potential clients." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari

"Trip of a lifetime - but hopefully not!"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 23 Aug 2018 and 9 Sep 2018
"My husband and I, and our two sons (aged 16 and 18) took this vacation just before our 18 year old went to college, so we wanted to spend quality time together. This trip exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we got off the plane in Lusaka, and were met by a driver, to the moment we were dropped back at Victoria Falls airport on our last day, the trip exceeded our expectations.

With the number of connections, hotels, drivers, activities etc that we built in, we were expecting complications and disasters, but every single thing happened smoothly, exactly as we were told it would.
We can't thank Lucy enough!!

Given the overall trip, we would return to Mwaleshi and Tafika. We probably wouldn't return to Davisons Camp or to Victoria Falls.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Everything went really well. We were very happy.

Thank you so much for everything you did.

We can't recommend your services highly enough!" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zambia safari

"Our August/September Rwanda and Zambia trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 19 Aug 2018 and 9 Sep 2018
"Terrific.

Rwanda was great to see the gorillas. they were magic.

Zambia, though was marvellous. We have been to places in Namibia, Botswana and Tanzania before and we really enjoyed them. However when/if we return to Africa we will go back to Zambia: Kafue and South Luangwa. The people were terrific overall, and we saw a variety of wildlife and birdlife.
