"Wonderful Trip"

I visited Zambia between 31 Jul 2010 and 13 Aug 2010
"Zambia was everything we had hoped for.

The walking was very good. The camps were all small and well run. The experience was unforgettable.

In addition to the superb wildlife viewing, we also enjoyed the atmosphere at the camps. All of the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Maruska was a great help in planning the trip. We particularly enjoyed being in the bush rather then at a big lodge. It was the perfect experience for us.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No, you were extremely helpful." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari

"A safari with a difference"

I visited Zambia between 25 Jul 2010 and 7 Aug 2010
"Both South Lauangwa and Lower Zambezi are stunningly beautiful. The camps we visited gave us a nice mix of locations and options for game viewing. We especially loved the after dark activity and got some of our best sightings in the eveining including Aardvark and African wild cat.

I have more mixed feelings about the bush walks. For photographic reasons and the video I take, I do like to get as close as possible to the animals. Bush walking is about a different experience and is very enjoyable but will not get you close to the animals. When time is limited it takes careful planning to get a comfortable balance and that is not always available. For example In small bush camps they may not have the resources to meet all expectations so you can find yourself doing a bush walk even when you may have wanted to go on a drive. Whilst the quantity of wildlife may not be as prolific as that say in Kenya the big advantage that Zambia has over the Masi Mara for example is that you are unlikely to have to fight for a sighting with lots of other trucks. There is plenty of space.

Personally it was not so much the quality of guiding that stood out, though it is excellent, but the warmth of the Zambian people. All the staff we met loved what they do and will always go the extra mile to make it special for you. Treat them with respect and they will respect you.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

This was our third trip with Expert Africa. Given the turbulence in the travel arrangements due to the BA strikes I cannot speak highly enough of the way in which Claire picked up ( when Anna left) our holiday booking and very efficiently finalised the arraangements.

The whole holiday worked smoothly and was a real pleasure from start to finish." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari

"Another excellent trip"

I visited Zambia between 16 Jul 2010 and 26 Jul 2010
"Another excellent trip and with the exception of the minor issue at Lusaka extremely well organised. All three camps were of the highest standard and we would recommend them without reservation. Each of the camps brought its own unique slant on the vists to Zambia and we would have no hesitation in coming back to this country for another safari.

All aspects of the 10 days were excellent, the food, accomdation, game drives, activities but especially the people we met made it a very special trip.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Keep doing what you are doing, you are obviously very good at it. Not having been to Zambia before we relied heavily on Anna's recommendation as regards locations for the game parks, but the selection of camps was based on these feedback forms so they certainly helped to determine which camps we came to choose." "the balance of a week in the peaks at Robin Pope Camps in South Lunganga and six night at sausage tree was just right and provided good value.

Pioneer Camp would have been fine when the weather was hot but not during the coldest month of the year. it was a sad end to a wonderful trip and as cost wasnt an issue for this night then poor advice from you." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari

"An excellent and amazing trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 18 Jun 2010 and 3 Jul 2010
"We enjoyed every moment of our trip to South Luangwa & Lake Malawi and are left with some wonderful memories & over 1400 photographs to sort through. Expert Africa's travel arrangements were faultless and the help given in planning our trip very knowledgeable. This was our second trip with Expert Africa and we would certainly recommend them and will use them again.

We have stayed in excellent camps and would recommend Robin Pope & The Bushcamp company equally. The game viewing was excellent and the hospitality everywhere was beyond expectations.

The weather in late June was not too hot during the day and not too cold at night, couldn't have been better." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari

"Unforgettable, unbelievable - unrepeatable"

I visited Zambia between 16 Jun 2010 and 28 Jun 2010
"From our first enquiry (taken by Anna) to our return home, your company's arrangement were faultless and comprehensive. Our bush camp experience exceeded all possible expectations and we would recommend the Bushcamp Company without reservation.
We appreciate that BA is the only airline serving Lusaka, but we would have reservations about flying with them again.

As we have said in the feedback, the Pioneer Camp was disappointing - perhaps there are better alternatives.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

We think this feedback form is fantastic. Many times we have taken the trouble to write to other comapanies after a trip, and we never get evan an acknowledgement, and get the feeling they don't really want it. You obviously do. We shall certainly consider travelling with you again, and have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

We have been to Zambia on a number of occasions since 1998 and to say we have fallen in love with the country would be an understatement. The people the country and the wildlife have to be experienced.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:.
