Ruckomechi Safari: In full
This Safari spends 3 nights at Ruckomechi Camp, which overlooks the Zambezi River and the escarpment on the opposite side in Zambia. Your base for the duration of this trip will be the very smart Ruckomechi Camp, one of the most upmarket options in the Mana Pools Area. The camp sits just outside of the national park, on its own concession and so benefits from not just fantastic game viewing but also being able to drive after dark with a spotlight. Accommodation takes the shape of en-suite tented chalets all overlooking the mighty Zambezi River as it passes by on its long journey towards the Indian Ocean. This safari includes transfers to and from Harare, both interesting flights in their own right, offering you a chance to see a large swathe of the country from the air.Include:
Day 4After your time at Ruckomechi you'll take a final flight, south to Zimbabwe's capital Harare. This transfer of about an hour takes you over the inland area of Mana Pools and up onto the Zambezi Escarpment and beyond. On arrival in Harare you'll be able to carry on with your trip, combining it with another safari element or simply catch a flight home.
