Travel reviews by Mr B from Bath
Superb safari in Liuwa Plains
On this trip, I visited Zambia between 9-May-2012 and 16-May-2012 and I travelled alone.
Liuwa is a sensational destination - remote, peaceful and with outstanding birdlife and large mammals. That is is not a 'Big Five' park (you won't see rhino, leopard or elephant, and as yet only a handful of buffalo are being reintroduced), it's a wonderful place to see vast numbers of wildebeest and zebra, astonishingly diverse bird species and predators in action.
Robin Pope and his team provide an outstanding service, and the overall experience is quite unique.
Feedback response
In the interests of transparency - readers should note that (unlike pretty much all of our other reviews) this traveller is not a normal customer; he is a Wanderlust journalist who wanted to travel to write an article about this trip, and hence who asked Expert Africa to assist him with his trip.
We've included his remarks here because, like many good and independent-minded journalists with whom we work, we know that his aim is to write accurately about his experiences, without fear, favour or bias.
I stayed at and have reviewed:

We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
