"This safari was planned and booked in, I think, 2019. Like the rest of the world, we had to postpone it twice due to Covid. It was worth the wait. I especially loved Ruaha and Nyerere because they don't seem to attract as many tourists as the migration area. But, having said that, seeing the migration is mind blowing.
On our last day, the camp manager was telling us all about Asilia and their environmental policies. I am really impressed with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely stay at their properties in the future. I hope they will consider expanding into Southern Africa...

"Kwihala was absolutely superb. Ruaha is a beautiful park--the trees, the boulders, the birds, the wildlife--and our guides made sure we saw as much as possible.

"Our stay here was extraordinary. We had close encounters with lions and with an elephant that was absolutely thrilling.
Our guides, Felix and Levian, were outstanding and made our game drives exciting, fun, and informative.
Our tents were fantastic--incredibly spacious and comfortable. And, the air conditioning system around the bed was genius.
I don't know how the thing works, but it worked wonders as it was quite warm."

"I booked Hatari Lodge because my flight to JRO was originally scheduled to arrive in the early afternoon and I would've had time for an afternoon game drive in Arusha National Park. But, the flights changed and I arrived too late for any activities. The lodge was comfortable and the food was fine. I left early the next day."

"I was the only guest during my stay at Little Oliver's, which was really wonderful. The new relief manager, Olivia, could not have been more accommodating. We had all our meals together and talked about everything under the sun. I was so comfortable there I didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect.
Then there was my guide, Albert. He picked me up in Arusha and we drove to Tarangire and then had an all day game drive. It was nothing short of a perfect start to my safari.
I've been on a number of safaris and, hands down, Albert was one of the best guides I've ever had. Knowledgeable, patient, passionate, funny, kind, and could spot animals like nobody's business."

"Sayari Camp is in an excellent location, but it is not my style. There are glass sliding doors and windows and they offer manicures, pedicures, and massage. Really? On safari?
