Tarangire Safari Lodge is relatively large (40 en-suite tents) and being close to the main park entrance the safari traffic can be heavy in this area, but it does enjoy a lovely situation.
Positioned on the escarpment ridge, it affords great views over the Tarangire River and the game lured to the water in the dry season. There is a swimming pool and relaxed air here, making it a reasonable option for families on a budget.
