Protea Hotel Upington review
A high standard. modern hotel.
Some rooms overlook the Orange River and (provided the quality is OK) it would be good to have option of staying in one of these.
Expert Africa comments
The Upington Protea is part of a large hotel chain. As such, it is difficult to request specific room types, especially when the hotel does not classify them separately under room types. We will always try and do our best to make special requests if travellers ask for a specific room type, however these can never be guaranteed.
We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
