Porcupine safari
This safari takes in four contrasting areas of the Okavango Delta and the surrounding environments. Included in the itinerary are four remote camps: Banoka Bush Camp is where you’ll begin the safari – situated on the edge of a lagoon of the Khwai River there are a variety of different activities on offer here to keep you entertained throughout your two night stay. Three nights at Motswiri Camp then offers excellent walking with experienced guides. The focus here is very much on getting out on foot and even on horse-back, although this is only an option for experienced riders. From here spend 3 nights at Linyanti Bush Camp in the drier, game-rich Kwando-Linyanti region of the northern Kalahari. The final 3 nights of the trip are spent in the Okavango Delta at Shinde Camp – an area well known for great lion, leopard, elephant and seasonal buffalo sightings in particular.
This Botswana safari can also easily be combined with a visit to see the Victoria Falls. See our trips to Livingstone for examples of the add-on options, and their costs.
