This Safari spends 3 nights at Somalisa Camp located on a flood plain in the middle of Hwange National Park. The area is particularly popular with elephants and many animals come to drink from the pumped waterhole in front of camp. Travellers then fly on to 2 nights at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, by light aircraft. Elevated atop a hill, high above Lake Kariba, guests can enjoy game drives and boat cruises, sunsets are particularly impressive here especially when viewed from the lake. Another flight by light aircraft, along a beautiful stretch of the Zambezi River, leads to a new national park, Mana Pools and 3 nights at Kanga Camp. Set away from the river this classic bush camp benefits from lots of game activity at the pan in front of camp – especially further into the dry season (July -> October). Classic in feel it’s a sister camp of Somalisa and they both share great guides and hospitable service.
