To really escape whilst you're near the Falls, consider a few nights at Sindabezi, Tongabezi's private island in the Zambezi.
Recently refurbished, Sindabezi's five beautiful en-suite thatched cottages are now set up on stilts, among the trees and reached by soft sand paths. All have an open front facing the river, a sundeck, a hot outdoor shower, canopied bed and loo with a view. Two are honeymoon chalets, which also have a bath.
Sindabezi offers all the activities available at the main Tongabezi Lodge, but with an added 20-minute scenic boat transfer to and from Sindabezi Island.
Sindabezi is often combined with it's sister-camp, Tongabezi, which stands on the banks of the Zambezi River – whilst families will make use of the nearby Tangala House. << For more details of these two places, click the link with the appropriate name on the left-hand menu, above.
