To really escape whilst you're near the Falls, consider a few nights at Sindabezi, Tongabezi's private island in the Zambezi. The five en-suite thatched cottages all have an open front facing onto the river, a canopied bed, a sundeck, an outdoor hot bucket shower – on demand, and a toilet with a view! The chalets are rustic in style, with wood fires, and are lit at night with hurricane lamps.
Sindabezi offers all the activities available at the main Tongabezi Lodge, but with an added 20-minute scenic boat transfer to and from Sindabezi Island.
Sindabezi is often combined with it's sister-camp, Tongabezi, which stands on the banks of the Zambezi River - whilst families will make use of the nearby Tangala House. << For more details of these two places, click the link with the appropriate name on the left-hand menu, above.
