Ruaha National Park

Ruaha is Tanzania’s largest national park.

It offers guided walking safaris...

...where you might spot some of the park’s fantastic birdlife...

...as well as a good amount of wildlife.

Ruaha is known for its dramatic scenery, including rolling hills...

...and open plains with skeletal baobab trees.

Ruaha’s wild and untrammelled feel sets it apart from other reserves.

"A stunning holiday."

I visited Tanzania between 2 Nov 2013 and 21 Nov 2013
"We had a lovely holiday and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone.

It was a lovely combination of beach and safari and the areas of Selous and Ruaha were totally different experiences. The snorkelling on Mafia was unexpectedly wonderful. Expert Africa certainly guided us to some lovely places and it is one of the best experiences of Africa we have had. All our connections went very smoothly and we were well looked after." "Once in a lifetime experience"

I visited Tanzania between 1 Nov 2013 and 10 Nov 2013
"I am almost lost for words about how amazing our trip to southern Tanzania was. It far exceeded our expectations in terms of accommodation and the game viewing and we wished we could stay much longer.

It was an expensive trip for us but worth every penny.

Elizabeth and James booked our trip for us and it was very well planned. What I really appreciated was that they took into account our very strict budget and still went out of their way to help us. I have found some agencies become rather reluctant to help you once they realise you will not be purchasing all the optional extras and need to stay within budget but I never felt that with Expert Africa.

I hope to book with them again in the future and would recommend without hesitation." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 6 on a Tanzania safari

"My Oct 2013 trip"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 5 Oct 2013 and 18 Oct 2013
"This was a great trip. We enjoyed it all. Although there was some negative observations about Impala we nevertheless enjoyed it . I do not think we would again travel to east Africa as late in the year as on this occasion. It was extremely hot and certainly in the Selous the rains came early. Rains were also expected in the Ruaha the day we left, again early for that region. Weather predictions as unstable in this region now as they are in the rest of the world.

Our itinerary was perfect and everything went like clockwork.

I believe this is our third African trip with you. Your company is very reliable with knowledgeable advisors offering trips that are competitively priced. We would not hesitate to travel with you to Africa a fourth time." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 8 on a Tanzania safari
