Acorn House
Acorn House is a beautifully old house designed in 1904 and is situated on the slopes of Table Mountain in the lovely suberb of Oranjezicht in Cape Town. The house is over 100 years old and a National Monument! Its location is very convenient, close to many restaurants. The city centre is only a short distance away and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront just a bit further on.
Our view of Acorn House
We liked Acorn House although on our visit in November 2011 we found it a little noisy especially at night. However for an affordable option within the city limits of Cape Town, Acorn House is a delightful guesthouse to spend a few days.

We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
