Transit at the Southern Sun
This was an ideal one night stop before the flight home. Great to have the choice of a bath or shower.
The evening meal was average but the breakfast (served from 0400), had a good choice to suit all tastes and appetites at that time in the morning.

We stayed there for one short night only before travelling to Selous - we arrived late at night and left very early in the morning, so we cannot really say much about it.
The place seemed very peaceful and clean, the suite was spacious and nicely decorated, the service was very good and the breakfast buffet was fine.
Good city hotel, good food, good transfers.
A nice place to stay if you need to stay in Dar es salaam. The room was modern, clean and very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was very good.

A hotel of very high standard. I asked for a non smoking room, but there was an intense smell of smoke in the room. I did not complain as I was only staying there for one night.
The dinner didn't impress me, maybe because the price was very high compared to the course I had ordered.

I only had a brief time here, but the welcome was friendly, the check in was simple and the room and bathroom were both very pleasant and well appointed.
