"Mushara Bush Camp review"
We got our 2nd flat tire here after driving through Etosha the day before. The staff were kind enough to swap the tire, though as we found out later the tire was irreparable.
We also got a chance to do some star gazing with the staff and guests.
One thing we found difficult was the tent/rooms. In the afternoon heat, the fans and ventilation were not enough to compensate for the October heat and we found it difficult to rest. The water also heated up during the day so that by the afternoon there was no cold water from the taps. As we found out later, the facilities next door at Mushara Outpost seemed a bit nicer, but on the other hand there seemed to be fewer guests, so perhaps it was just as well. (It's always nice to talk with other guests.)" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 1n in South Africa

It's just a shame the family unit was way too cramped for a family of five despite the best efforts of the staff.
Mushara's close proximity to Etosha was a real plus, the animal sightings were all at Etosha over six days." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

Convenient location to Etosha, very comfortable tent that felt more like a lodge, amazing staff, and delicious food!
Did a guided tour to Etosha with Ute, who was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend!!" See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Mushara Bush Camp review"
The service and the premises were very good, and so was the food and drinks.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the lodge atmosphere is family friendly. The manager was very helpful and gave us useful advise regarding touring the park and later for our return trip to Windhoek.
The swimming pool area is very good and refreshing after a whole day out in the park.
The restaurant and common area are very nice and spacious.
The location of the Camp is very good, only a short distance outside of Etosha and so it is easy to drive back in to spend the day in the East side of the park.
We did not do any activities at Mushara Camp nor did we see any wildlife inside the camp other than a small Antilope." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia
"Friendly mongoose and great food"
Service was inconsistent, we were offered dessert and said yes but it didn't arrive. The same waiter was also slow on drinks service and his demeanor was less friendly than other waiters.
Victoria was a standout. She had a good sense of humour and was efficient.
The room sprung some leaks during a thunderstorm and there was water pooling on the sides - (we had the canvas shutters up)
The game drive was rich in animals but the guide spent too long on his phone - at times it seemed he was talking to other guides about where animals where but at other times he was looking at photos and seemed to be having personal conversations
Guide was still informative and provided a great experience, especially when it rained heavily and he got the ponchos and car sorted while also still serving G&Ts.
We saw a cheetah on our self guided drive." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
