Greeted by "house zebra" who led us to the front door.
Fantastic location on hillside, loved the rooms with views over the savannah.
Great pool area.
Would have liked more time to do some hikes.

Our igloo semi-detached room was one of the smallest we stayed in during our Namibia trip but it was absolutely fine, especially for just one night. There was just room for two chairs on the balcony, but the view was fabulous and the sunset stunning. We woke up to mountain zebra crossing the plain.
Breakfast was good with all the usual cereals, fruit, toast, yoghurts plus hot stuff. Our dinner experience was mixed - one of us had a delicious pasta dish whilst the other was served uncooked chicken which had to be returned. But the staff dealt with this without making a fuss and apologised.
We enjoyed a short walk in the morning before we left and there were many more walks to do if only we'd been there longer. We'd happily stay here again.

Wished we had stayed here longer - we had a long day in the sand dunes and didn't arrive here until after sunset. This was a big disappointment as we could see from the colour of the sky it was someting to be witnessed.
The igloo was the best room we stayed in and the restaurant and waiters were excellent. Fantastic walking but unfortunately I only had time for one the next morning before breakfast.
In hindsight we would have swopped Swakopmund for three days here.

RR was a nice stopping off point between the dunes and further north. I'm not sure there's enough there in itself to attract people, but as I say, a good spot if it's on your way.
The rooms were a little bit smaller than we'd had elsewhere, but still well equiped.
There's great views from all rooms, restaurant, pool area etc. over the area, and the resident zebra is cute. Don't get too close to the meerkats though, we stopped to take a photo and they all came out and chased up away!
The food was all very nice.

Very friendly reception, good food and plenty of information on walks around the property.
This room was a little dingy, we felt due the colour of paint used, but we admired the architecture.
Great views from the room and terrace. Food and drink very reasonably priced.
We enjoyed a very nice un-guided 2.5km walk across the plains.
Amazing setting, especially the swimming pool
This was an amazing place. The swimming pool had the most incredible views.
The food was good and the menu had a wide range of choices. good choices. The owner was very helpful and friendly and posted cards for us.
Loved the meercats.

pool was nice but the rest was entirely forgetful. we would have preferred the longer drive and skip the ritz completely

A beautiful location, with some good local walking. The 'igloo' design is somewhat eccentric, though full of character. I found the rooms rather dark, shutting out the beauty of the setting - but cool in summer I daresay.
Dinner was excellent but charged extra. They were quite busy. The pet zebra and tame meerkats were a hit with my grandson. The pool and poolside ara were attractive - but too cold in late June.
