We love the Seychelles!

Seychelles between 3 Jul 2011 and 14 Jul 2011

Trip rating: Excellent
"Thank you for a wonderful trip! Apart from the flights, every aspect of the trip was excellent. In particular, it was very well organised, with all our transfers going without a hitch.

The Seychelles are a beautiful part of the world, and we can't think of a better place to have spent our honeymoon.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Keep up the excellent work!"

La Reserve

La Reserve

"La Reserve review"

6 nights Arrived 4 Jul 2011
"We had a fantastic time at La Reserve.

The hotel beach and the day trips offered by the hotel stood out in particular. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

The only slight problem we had was that, as B&B guests, the options for dinner within the hotel itself were very limited and expensive, meaning we went out most nights. This wasn't too much of a problem for us as we enjoyed exploring, but it would have been nice to have the option to have something light and informal at the hotel."

Bliss Hotel, Seychelles (this camp has since closed)

"Bliss Hotel Review"

4 nights Arrived 10 Jul 2011
"Tell everyone to stay at Bliss Hotel!

We had a great time here - it's very stylish and somewhat remote, making it the perfect romantic getaway. We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, as well as being brought breakfast on our balcony each morning. The view of the sunset from here is stunning, and the rooftop bar complete with loungers is the perfect place to view it from. Next door to the hotel is a fun and interesting restaurant with a surprise set menu that changes every night.

One thing to bear in mind here is that the beach is quite rocky (there was an incredible clear rock pool to swim in, accessed by stone steps), so you need to drive about 15 minutes to Beau Vallon for a good swimming beach. Apart from the one restaurant, you also need a car to access additional restaurants and facilities. However, driving here was fairly easy, so this should not be too problematic."
