"When we stayed here the resort had only been open for two month and we had the hotel virtually to ourselves. Everyone was extremely gracious and eager to please. The food was interesting and delicious, and we could tell a great deal of planning and care was taken in preparation and presentation. We had a private tour of the nursery gardens for the manager and head gardener, pre-dinner cocktails served on the beach, live Zanzibarian music during dinner. The snorkeling was excellent.
I sensed this was a place where everyone working there was extraordinarily proud of the work they had done.
