"All the arrangements went very smoothly; we felt well informed and well prepared for the trip.

Three nights at each lodge should be a minimum. We really enjoyed the "add-ons" in Cape Town, Doha and Livingstone. Spending some time in Livingstone and then crossing into Zimbabwe with the bustling crowds around the border bridge, we were reminded how isolated we were in the safari camps.

We missed the connections with local people, if they can be authentic.

Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We saw everything we wanted to see and all the camps were excellent and provided a different experience (we stayed at Kuro Tarangire, Lamai Serengeti, and Namiri Plains).

"The entire trip was amazing - eight nights at Hwange Bush Camp in Zimbabwe including three nights fly camping at Mandavu followed by nine days on a mobile safari through Chobe, Savuti and Kwai.

"Excellent combination of camps for our first trip to Zambia . The South Luangwa NP first - The two Shenton Safaris camps an excellent combination.

Then to Lower Zambezi NP . Again the combination of main camp and bush camp run by same family worked very well .

The heat was pretty challenging at times. Temperatures in high 30’s - early 40’s most of the trip. We were well advised about this of course but it’s def worth mentioning. "The arrangements made by Expert Africa were excellent with one exception, the 'accessible' room in Nairobi mentioned above.

I do want to single out a young woman called Bernice at Nairobi airport who shepherded me through passport control avoiding the horrendous queues.

As a non-drinker, I wonder how much of my cost was allocated towards alcohol.

"It was an experience of a lifetime!!!

I can't wait to hopefully one day go back again, and I wouldn't change a thing, the trip from start to finish was everything I had dreamed it would be and so much more!!!
