Superb in Every Way

"The trip exceeded all of our expectations.
There were no "glitches" whatsoever. The recommended lodges and camps were wonderful, the timing and execution of every aspect was great. We were completely satisfied with the recommendations and service given to us by Expert Africa.
You cannot plan a trip to Africa being assured of seeing all of the wildlife you would like to see - you are at the mercy of nature! We were very lucky. We saw more animals than we ever dreamed of.
We have been to some amazing places around the world, but we will remember our trip to Tanzania as being one of our best experiences ever!

"We loved our three night stay at Little Oliver's.
The camp itself is well-designed, with beautiful tents and lots of amenities. The staff members are simply amazing. They made us feel immensely welcome and took great care of us. It is a very well-managed property. The food was generally quite good. The (set) daily menus offered a nice selection and everything was beautifully presented, as were our "bush" meals. We left feeling spoiled and over-indulged!
It would be hard to beat the location - while we were in Tarangire, we saw an enormous quantity and variety of wildlife. If I was to be picky, I would have liked for the tent to have slightly brighter lighting."

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
"Convenient to the Crater Entrance"

"Our room at Sopa was spacious and clean. In good weather, the lodge offers a lovely view of the Crater.
The food is fine - nothing special, but we weren't expecting a gourmet experience. The staff was generally good. The very best reason for staying at Sopa is its proximity to the Crater entrance - we were always among the first few cars into the Crater each morning, as the entrance gate is just a few minutes away from the lodge.
One aspect of the Sopa Lodge experience which could be improved upon is their box breakfasts, which included a strange assortment of things: a full sized candy bar, a bag of flavored chips (crisps), peanuts, together with buns and a cold sausage."

"What a Delight!"

"We spent five nights at Sayari (in September) and had an excellent experience in every way. The well-designed tents and common spaces are spacious and clean. The food was generally delicious. Breakfasts and lunches in camp are lovely buffets and the daily dinner menu offered three nice main dish options. Our "bush" picnics were tasty - and typically included more food than we could have possibly eaten.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a well-managed property, you get the feeling that every effort is made to make guests feel comfortable. Our guide, supplied by Asilia, (owner of the lodge) was amazing. We were impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. It is difficult to think of any suggestions to offer, but in a perfect world each tent would have a fan - useful during the afternoon rest time between game drives.
The location (Northern Serengeti) offered us incredible wildlife watching. We saw 8 crossings, plus an amazing array of mammals and birds. Truly unforgettable in every way."
