"We had the most fantastic start to our safari honeymoon at Elsas.

We were given a wonderfully warm welcome and the staff were very attentive throughout. Our guide, Simon, made a supreme gin and tonic and was extremely knowledgable about the Meru and wildlife. He had an amazing eye, and a great knack for putting the van in the right place - one special moment was when we parked up on the road to see a herd of elephants make their way towards and around us.

Elsas itself is such an amazing place to stay - from the pool to the bar and restaurant to the incredible rooms. The details are well thought through and make a big difference. A special mention has to go to the chefs - they catered for my vegetarian wife supremely well; we had high expectations for the food given what we had read but those were exceeded."

"We had a fantastic time at Naboisho. Our first two nights we were the only guests in camp and Ruelof and Helen and staff made us so welcome and at ease.

We spent three days in Naboisho on game drives, and saw a group of cheetahs and many lions amongst others! The conservancy is a treasure trove for wildlife and most of the time we saw no other vans - it is a special place.

One day we took a full day's drive to the Mara which was great to see, with the Migration coming to an end.

One of the most enjoyable parts of our stay was a morning walking safari with Ruelof. A completely different way of experience the wildlife - this is highly recommended!"

"Our five days at Kinondo Kwetu were the perfect way to end our honeymoon.

Food and drink were amazing, with dinners served at different venues across the resort, which was a lovely touch. The pools are great and kayaking/diving facilities are wonderful. It was all made so easy for us. Excellent massages and yoga classes overlooking the sea - the dream!

An added bonus was the tennis court, which allowed us to be a little more active when we wanted to be!"
