Superb family adventure
Namibia between 30 Jun 2017 and 10 Jul 2017
"Justin Huff helped us plan two weeks in Namibia. We travelled with our six and seven year old daughters. We flew via Scenic Air up to Etosha from Windhoek and then self-drove back with stops at Huab and Ai Aiba. Everything went perfectly according to plan with no hiccups. When we had one question to clarify our itinerary we were very happy that Expert Africa had a responsive 24 hour team on call. The trip was every bit the wonderful adventure we hoped it would be. The wildlife surpassed our highest expectations and driving in Namibia is a very do-able experience.
Justin answered every question/concern we had and we felt very well prepared to make our trip even with two young kids in tow.
We will happily use Expert Africa if and when our family returns to Africa someday."

Huab Lodge
"Really cool spot"

"Our family loved Huab lodge.
The spot is beautiful and gives you the chance to go out on lovely self-directive walks/hikes which is great if much of the rest of your trip involves lots of safari drives.
Collective dinners around a common table were a fun chance to meet other travelers. Staff was very warm and attentive to our needs/wants.
This is a particularly good spot to take younger kids."

"Lovely spot"

"Ai Aiba undersells their safari drive here where we both saw amazing wildlife (this said after spending 5 days in Etosha!) and amazing desert vistas.
The staff here was so nice to our family and even baked our six year old a special birthday cake dessert."

River Crossing
"OK place to spend a night"

"River Crossing is a fine place to spend an evening on the way to or from the airport.
Everything was clean and nice. We were disappointed that there really isn't much to do here. Despite expansive grounds there are no walking paths.
We wanted to ride horses the morning of our flight home and were told the stable manager was "down in the South."
In short, there is nothing wrong with River Crossing but its a place to stay en route to elsewhere and there is no particular reason to spend more time here than necessary."

Proximity to the water hole is fantastic with the hide so close you feel like you are practically sitting in the middle of the animals. Bring warm jammies if you are sleeping there in the winter.
Staff was very attentive to our kids."
