"It was a varied and interesting trip that we throughly enjoyed. The level of detailed planning from expert Africa was one of the keys to the success of this trip. They really did construct the holiday very much with our needs in mind. Also the quality of their ground arrangements meant that any small glitches never became a problem.
Suggestions for improvement:
We thought everything was well handled and the key was the level of local knowledge by the staff at Expert Africa. This I believe is very important."

"Stunning location away from the mass tourism of the north. Their own diving /snorkelling centre in the grounds of the resort was superb. They were able to tailor make trips to the reefs and desert islands which were spectacular and away from the tourist masses.
The staff at Fumba were lovely and enthusiastic and we had some great locations on the beach for dinner. They have however got to look at the fly problem in the restaurant either by getting a zap machine or being more diligent when covering the food.
Fumba is fairly secluded and quite a distance from facilities at Stone Town. We were delighted to be helped when requiring some medicines but for more mundane supplies such as suncream etc make sure you are well stocked up before arriving.

"Beautiful boutique hotel and if you are lucky enough to get one of the rooms on the top floor you will have the most stunning views from your bathroom / terrace. Friendly owners and staff and great breakfast.

The area around the camp had relatively few tourists and a great mix of wildlife and the guides and drivers were superb at getting us really close to this wildlife. Talking later to tourists from other camps it was obvious that we had picked a winner and we would be happy to recommend Lake Manze to anyone."
