"We have had the most fantastic trip to Namibia , and are so pleased we used Expert Africa to organise this .
Having lived in Namibia previously and travelled extensively within the country , I was tempted to undertake the booking and organising of this holiday myself , but with 20 years since I was last there , felt we could do with some guidance . Chris Mcintyres Bradt guide to Namibia had been invaluable previously, and led us to Expert Africa.
Sabina listened to what we were looking for and came up with some great suggestions which we would never have discovered . We were particularly grateful that she guided us away from our determination to hire a two wheel car ! She was prompt and empathic in all of her replies , and all together lovely .
The pre travel pack and very clear summary sheets and directions were invaluable and reassuring .
I have already highly recommended Expert Africa , and will continue to do so. We are already dreaming of our next trip to this wonderful country !"

"Toshari was great . Would highly recommend . Very good value , with stand alone units looking on to bush and beautiful communal areas . Excellent buffet evening meals and breakfast . Short drive to Anderson gate was easily manageable .
We found the staff choir performance with collection during the evening meal uncomfortable but recognise that this is done in numerous lodges and appeared to be enjoyed by others ."

"Excellent setting , just next to Etosha Von Linquest gate .
Beautiful communal areas , looking on to waterhole .
Fantastic to enjoy views of animals coming to the waterhole whilst we were having meals .
Food was not great , especially compared to all other places we stayed . Evening meal was expensive and weak in quality , and breakfast didn’t seem to be cooked to order . For the price paid that needs attention ."

"Excellent stop over between east side of Etosha and Windhoek , and close to the Cheetah Conservation Fund , enabling a visit easily .
Welcoming and warm , with lovely water wise garden .
Well set out spacious room . Very good value for money . Would definitely return ."

"This was our only disappointing accommodation . Sterile and anonymous , with little feel of Africa - could have been anywhere in the world . Seemed to lack the personal touch we experienced in all other accommodation in Namibia .
Only place staff didn’t offer to help with luggage . Inadequate parking was stressful .
No coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms felt unacceptable , with only a communal urn of luke warm water in the dining room . A kettle in each room really needs to be addressed .
Only one bedside light also an oversight ."

Due to new motorway being built , getting there was a bit complicated , but clear directions from Expert Africa were helpful . Would not advise driving there for first time after dusk due to complicated route and poor road condition . Close to airport and Windhoek .
Excellent value for money . Just wish we had stayed there on our last night ( we stayed in Windhoek for our last night in a disappointing standard guest house which had none of the positives of River Crossing for pretty much similar cost ) . Would highly recommend for everyone’s first and last night in Namibia ."
