"This was such a wonderful trip. Namibia is beautiful, the people are so friendly, and so much wildlife!

We rented an SUV and drove in a big loop around the country alternating driving days and exploring days, staying in nice lodges. Expert Africa did an awesome job organizing the trip for us. I had been worried about driving so much on gravel roads in isolated places, but everything worked out great. Being well prepared helped -- and Expert Africa helped a lot in that respect.

We enjoyed meeting the other guests at the lodges. The landscape is so incredibly beautiful. And we saw more wildlife than we could have imagined.

"This trip was not quite as successful as previous trips to South Luangwa. The choice of camps was entirely mine and I take full responsibility for this.

In my own defence, there had been some surprise changes in camps I thought I knew and had visited previously - such as no communal dining at Kafunta and a management change at Lion Camp leading to the introduction of new dining arrangements and a new activity/meal schedule. This changed the whole experience of the camp, rather than just the cosmetic refurbishment I had been expecting.

A last minute switch to include Tafika in the itinerary really rescued the trip. Tafika is a class act. It's a comfortable, welcoming, characterful safari camp run by people who understand what's most important about the safari experience. It remains one of my favourite camps in Africa." "We all agreed that this was the best holiday that we had ever had. Even better than our honeymoon! A fantastic holiday to have with teenagers and we were surprised with the number of familiies that we saw.

Although we were busy on safari, the holiday still felt relaxing as we did not have to think about or do anything. All our needs were taken care of.

There was something for everyone on this holiday and all enjoyed the birds, scenery, butterflies, stars and crabs as much as the big game. All lodges were outstanding, although different and we definitely needed the four days on the beach after the safari to relax.

"Great trip. Everything happened as per plan. The only reservation was about the new Robin Pope camp and that needs commencing to the owners.

Otherwise, an amazing experience, and we saw far more wildlife than we were led to expect from the literature.

"A changing life experience.

After the Kgalagadi - a conservation area that is transfrontier - you can no more think as you previously thought.

As a journalist I understand what we mean for conservation and why South Africa has the most relevant protected areas in the region ; the Serengeti is a little think in comparison to Kgalagadi . And this is a stronghold for the lions of an enormous importance, totally underestimated . That is why I am going to tell about for my newspaper. But it is very important also the buffer zone you have to go through to get twee rivièren. A park is bigger than its extension. It is a social and ecological system. "I believe this was as close to a perfect vacation as you can possibly have.

Every detail Freddie put together was amazing from the fishing to the helicopter tour to the hotels and safari camps. The accommodations were just amazing and the game drives were beyond all our expectations. Robin Pope Safaris clearly knows what they are doing and it shows in every detail of their camps and game drives.

The bar has been set so high for us that I don't expect any African vacation to ever surpass this one.

"This was a most enjoyable safari.

The 4 day stay with Kichaka principally involved walking. This was balanced by 3 days of more luxurious living in Jabali Private House.

This combination served our family group well, it being a mix of those who have been on many safaris and one who was new to the experience. All the guides and staff that looked after us at both operations were excellent.
