"The guide and tour would have been excellent except that the weather didn't cooperate. We didn't get to do the gardens and had to limit our time at the Cape Point due to weather.

"Had a great day with Faisal (Abraham ??) our driver from Ilios. Very friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his company and invited him to join us for lunch.

The tour covered a wide area including Cape Point, Chapman's Peak, Simon's Town and the Botanical Gardens. Seeing the penguins was the highlight of the day for us but the baboons, ostrich and other wild life were all exciting to see as well. The coastline was stunning, and the weather was perfect. If we had more time we would have driven ourselves and lingered at places of our choice, however we were short of time so appreciated our excellent guide who showed us areas of Cape Point and provided both historical detail and information on the wildlife and plants.
