"Kids ran round it in 30 mins. Nothing to be seen from up there. Pretty much a waste of time." Read more about this whole safari

"Walking Among Treetops - Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway"

Based at Escarpment Luxury Lodge on 11 Dec 2022
"We (my wife and I) greatly enjoyed the Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway. This was the first time that either of us had walked among trees on suspension "bridges" 18 or so meters above the ground. It took us a while to get used to the swaying but we never felt unsafe. It certainly was a different perspective.

The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful in pointing out the different species of trees, birds, and butterflies that we saw. He also explained the process of constructing the walkway, which I found fascinating.

I would do this again if provided the opportunity." Read more about this whole safari

"Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway"

Based at Oliver's Camp on 7 Jun 2022
"This walk along the treetops through suspension bridges was a little unnerving, but it was interesting to hear about the plants around the lake and potentially spot a hornbill.

We got some nice pictures too!" Read more about this whole safari

"Treetop walk"

Based at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge on 1 Aug 2019
"Our itinerary had this as an morning event and back to Lake Manyara The treetop walk takes 20 minutes.

Fortunately we did the walk prior day and went to Tarangire Park instead. Lake Manyara is nice, but it's not a place you need to spend two full days. Luckily we heard good things from other travelers about Taragire and were able to book it. if you guys don't normally include Tarangire, you absolutely should." Read more about this whole safari
