"This holiday or should I say trip was a very memorable one. I have been to both locations before but my friend had not but I must say that this time was so much better. We both enjoyed the tented camps - bumping along game drives, especially the off track ones. Seeing all the game - landing in Samburu and within 15 minutes seeing a young leopard!!!!!
We are very well travelled but this trip will stick in our memory bank for ever.

"On arriving at this camp we were greeted with cool wet towels and a drink - most welcoming. The tents here were delightful well equipped comfortable beds and a great location.
The overall experience in this camp was good - only comment was the food could have been a little lighter!!! Huge portions, but for some I'm sure that was welcome.
Seeing the wildlife in camp was a bonus and from our veranda we could see lots of game across the river.
The plunge room was the only way to cool off in the afternoon GREAT!!!!"

"A little piece of HAVEN!!"

"What can I say about this tented camp.......
From the moment we turned into this camp it was WONDERFUL!! Karl and Lara were there to meet us with some of their great staff. They made us feel so welcome and very comfortable. The whole experience here was truly amazing, the tents bucket showers(you could have a few a day - if you wanted) the quality of the food their chef produced was fabulous. One night we had this camp to ourselves, what a special treat.
One night, Karl had set up sundowner drinks in a location which he didn't realised was being shared with a group of lion cubs how special was that.
We had the most incredible four nights staying in Offbeat and would love to go back."

The Emakoko

"Well what can I say about this place - after driving through the National Park our driver made a turn to enter a very steep hill this was like the steepest "driveway" I have ever seen, a hair raising experience but driven with care for us in the back but worth every scary moment as Emakoko into view.
The welcome we got here was truly amazing, first impression here was what a fabulous place in a great location. The room we had was spectacular, beautiful everything. The food was the best we had had this trip - so pleased to see fresh salad. The service from all the staff was friendly.
After travelling we were more than pleased to see a swimming pool which we made very good use of, a very pleasant way to finish our trip.
We would like to say that Anthony & Emma deserve a 5 star rating for their hospitality."
