My May 2025 trip
Botswana between 6 May 2025 and 14 May 2025
we were very pleased with the activities and the proliferation of wildlife.
Booking with Expert Africa was easy and personal and the staff are very helpful.
we had a small problem paying the balance but it was soon sorted with a phone call.
Everything ran smoothly and perfectly and the overall experience exceeded out expectations. We would definitely recommend Expert Africa and Kwando Safaris."

"Mma Dinare review"
the camp generally was well run.
the food was excellent and the room was comfortable and a good size and ideally situated for viewing over the water.
we understand having a campfire breakfast for warmth in the early morning but eating off your lap was difficult and hard to see, so an option to eat at a table would be good."

Tau Pan Camp
"Tau Pan Camp review"
food was excellent. we were promised a cooked breakfast on the last day but had to ask for it.
meal times were a moveable feast; on occasion we went in for a pre dinner drink before the stated meal time only to be rushed to the table. we felt the management could pay more attention to detail, for example the teas we drank in our room were not replenished and there was no ice at the bar but these were easily overcome by asking.
the guide and tracker were outstanding and we enjoyed their company. Even better, we had them to ourselves!
the ponchos and hot water bottles they provided were very much appreciated in the cold morning safaris."

2 nights were enough but we were lucky to get a morning drive in on the day we left, even though we were charged (almost) by an elephant!!
the programme was full on ( no down time), especially if people are arriving straight from a long haul flight from a different time zone.
the guide was very good but we had 7 in the jeep and we ended up in the middle three the whole time. It would be appropriate if the guide suggested swopping.
the food was average but adequate."
