Mind blowing

Botswana and 1 other country between 23 Jul 2010 and 6 Aug 2010

Trip rating: Excellent
"What can one say! The trip exceeded my expectations. There are sights and sounds I will never forget.

Photos just can't do the country justice.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

None that I can think of."

Toka Leya Camp

"tracked a white rhino on foot"

2 nights Arrived 24 Jul 2010
"Good start to our holiday. Evening boat trip. Following day Victoria falls and the white rhino. The lodge even organised a fishing trip as well.

Not much game but that was not our aim at this lodge. Sound of the river and the hippo's at night sent us to sleep.

Two nights was about right."

"Mind blowing experiences we will not forget"

4 nights Arrived 26 Jul 2010
"This was our first proper safari camp. Our guide - Dux, and tracker - Mopame were so passionate about the animals and wild life. Nothing was too much trouble for them. If there was something to be seen they would take us there no matter how long it took. We saw wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, etc, etc the list could go on. The only one to elude us was leopard (not for wont of trying).

I will never forget our tent being surrounded by about 7 or 8 elephants one night just the other side of the mosquito net - unbelievable!"

"Leopards and lion cubs"

4 nights Arrived 30 Jul 2010
"Guide and tracker were great - Jacob and Kent. Finally got to see a leopard (not easy in the long grass). Later on however we saw him up a tree in characteristic pose just staring down at us. We also saw lion cubs with their mother just playing in the afternoon sun, could have watched all day.

Took a mokoro boat across to an island where we walked for about an hour. Got up close and personal to a male elephant. Also had chance to smell elephant dung - not as bad as you might think."
