Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
No improvements as we thoroughly enjoyed your service, the information, advice and support for this our first Safari-well done!
We would not hesitate to travel with Expert Africa and Robin Pope Safaris in the future." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zambia safari
"Loved every second!"
The overall experience on our trip was wonderful - Little Governors camp was a delight. You have to get to the camp by a little boat across the river (takes about 30 seconds) but I would flag it for people who are perhaps not physically able to walk up and down stairs really easily - there aren't many stairs, and the boat is easy to get on and off, but it does require a little agility!
The camp itself if pristine, the staff are lovely and the drivers are such experts at what they do. We say ALL of the Big Five, including the leopard, which was the whole reason we wanted to go on safari again. Our drive, Colin, was so patient and persevered through our constant requests to 'please find us a leopard' and eventually found one for us. Amazing. The food at the camp is really great, and they even provide a water drinking tap in our rooms.
The hotel and beach at Diani were also brilliant - really clean and nice rooms, and great food at the restaurant. Would recommend the beach restaurant over their fine dining one, only because it has a bit more atmosphere. However, there are little Bush Babies that visit the fine Dining restaurant, which is quite nice! The weather was wonderful, and the beach really beautiful - just expect to be chased into the sea by the people on the beach trying to sell you their goods!
Loved our holiday and can't recommend Expert Africa highly enough. Thank you James! Can we go back now please!?" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 9 on a Kenya safari
"The best way to see Africa"
Every single thing that you arranged ran smoothly - many thanks
We know Africa well, but this was exceptional." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip
"A Memorable Trip"
Our itinerary was a balance between adventure (self-drive in Botswana and the Caprivi Strip); land- and water-based game and bird viewing; history and culture. All of this using accommodation ranging from the rustic to the luxurious. We always felt comfortable, even in Zimbabwe which was really the wild card.
We would have no hesitation in returning there (though not driving) or recommending it to others. It is a country with great tourism potential which one day will be allowed to flourish." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zimbabwe safari
"Our Zambian safari September 2017"
Not mentioned above, but the "meet and greet" at Lusaka on arrival is always welcome and reassuring" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari
"Excellent experience with one blemish"
Our entry to Namibia at Windhoek was very disappointing and time consuming. Immigration there had recently introduced new systems to photograph and fingerprint all arrivals. Perhaps teething problems with the new technology and certainly the small number of officers on duty meant it took us two and a half hours from exiting the plane to enter the country, all while standing in a small hot room.
This delay meant we could not arrive at our next destination in time for it's afternoon game drive. Those that had prepaid would have lost our financially as well as in terms of enjoyment." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip
"A dream holiday"
The hotels were all very good, the people are lovely and so pleasant. Getting around was very easy.
We absolutely loved South Africa, there is so much to see and do. Cage diving with the sharks, whale watching and the safari where fun.
We will be back." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 13 on a South Africa trip
"My Sep 2017 trip"
We understand that some of the accommodation that Sabina originally wanted to book was not available. Unfortunately we found one of the substitute hotels, Ugab Terrace Lodge, sub standard and not a nice place to stay. We really did not want to be there, the management of the place was very poor.
However we hope to return to Namibia and will certainly use you next time around.
Many thanks for a great holiday and memorable experience." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 20 on a Namibia trip
"A very interesting trip/some glitches"
We would have missed the heritage petroglyphs but have already seen San rock art in Zimbabwe so maybe I think this would have been the superior choice. Then we could have driven to Etosha from either Swakopmund or Windhoek (Better option) and saved money on renting a less robust car.
Also Doro Nawas was totally not worth the money or effort.
Favorites were Soussesvlei Desert Lodge, Sandwich Bay Tour, and Ongava Lodge." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 15 on a Namibia trip
"My Sep 2017 trip"
Windhoek airport were implementing new computer systems when we arrived and left, which lengthened the queues. Hopefully the "teething" issues are now sorted." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 10 on a Namibia trip
