"It was fantastic!

From our initial discussion on options to the final bookings, EA were excellent, providing expert insight into what each camp could offer and tie that in with our wishes.

The Kwihala camp was perfect for what we wanted, extremely comfortable, great food and run by a very good team. The safari in Ruaha was just what we wanted, remote and quiet with good and varied wildlife, but without being overrun and therefore ambivalent/bored of such amazing creatures." "We had a truly amazing 3 week trip through Namibia. We were really happy to have chosen a self drive and felt perfectly safe and in control at all times. The views and vastness are indescribable and the places we stayed at were amazing and different each time. Our highlights were Hoanib in the Skeleton Coast, Fish River Lodge and watching the sun rise over Sossusvlei.

The weather in January was perfectly fine and we only had rain 1-2 at night. However as the rains had come, the animals in Etosha were less visible. Driving was also fairly straightforward.

"Our trip to Namibia was the most amazing holiday of a lifetime it felt like a really special adventure and such good value for money.

Almost everything about the trip organised by Expert Africa was brilliant (except for our last night :( ) the lodges, food and trips were all brilliant.

Namibia itself surpassed our expectations, the scenery was breathtaking, the people wonderfully friendly and we always felt safe throughout our travels.

We have been recommending Namibia and Expert Africa to everyone we meet and have already passed on the new brochure to friends who are interested.

"It was a great trip but marred by a terrible hire car and extra De Hoop expenditure (both as outlined earlier). As a family we have made many life long memories which is the reason we wanted to do the trip in the first place. I will, however, steer well clear of self drive holidays for a while as the arguments Craig And I had over the driving and the car were too frequent and stressful!" "I felt I got very good advice on how to pace this trip and Claire found some new places for us to try. We had booked a bit late in the season and your usual locations were full. Claire stuck with it and the places she found were fantastic.
