Situated on Pemba Island, which lies about 80km to the north-east of Zanzibar Island, Manta Resort offers a relaxing beach retreat with fantastic views. The island is less dependent on tourism than Zanzibar, and so whilst fairly densely populated, feels considerably more exclusive due to its lower number of visitors.
Located on a far corner of the island, where the layout flows from a swimming pool and bar right down to the white sandy beaches, Manta Resort offers a wonderfully off-beat destination in which to unwind.
Your stay will include full board and drinks, as well as a daily spa treatment. The only extras are activities and excursions, of which there are plenty: explore the coral reefs on snorkelling trips and diving excursions, try deep-sea fishing or visit Ngezi Rainforest for a birdwatching trip. With some of the best sunsets anywhere on Pemba Island, be sure to also join an evening boat cruise where you will enjoy sundowners against a backdrop of resplendent colours.
