Both Chris and Tom put our trip to Namibia together at very short notice. They did an incredible job and our trip to Namibia has been our best family holiday so far.

Their knowledge of the country, and advice re where to stay (and ability to book amazing accommodation at short notice!) and what to do was invaluable. My husband and I are generally independent travellers, but in this case, the guidance and service we received from Chris and Tom was invaluable and our trip was all the better for it.

I cannot recommend Expert Africa highly enough.

"Our trip consisted of four nights Shiwa Ng'andu, 4 nights Tafika, 1 night Chikoko, 2 nights Livingstone.

The itinerary and choice of locations was great for our family and just what we were looking for - I think the sequencing was perfect.

"We had wonderful time during our trip to Namibia, perfect organization, no trouble at all, even if we booked with such a short notice in the peak season.
I would recommend to fly between some locations (specifically from Etosha to Windoek the road is nothing special, better to spend more time in the nature and fly back to the Capital).

"This was our 17th trip with Expert Africa (dating back to 2006); but it was somewhat different to most of our previous ones in that we had two family members with us making their first trip to Africa.

Our guests had spent two weeks in Zambia with us before we took this trip, mainly at our home just outside Livingstone. But, other than a day at Masuku Lodge just north of Choma and a couple of sunset cruises around 'our' patch of the Zambezi, this had not been safari as such. We therefore wanted to give them a good taste of the wildlife. We picked The Hide in Hwange NP and Victoria Falls (Gorges Lodge) because of their proximity to our home in Livingstone and our wish for our guests to see the Victoria Falls on both sides.

This turned out to be about as good a final week to their three week trip as we could have imagined, not only in absolute terms but also as a great counterpoint to the time our guests spent in Zambia. It was also very good from our perspective too. Getting such a good balance is not straightforward and we are grateful to the team at Expert Africa for once again coming up trumps." "As always we had a great time and cannot give any adverse comment on the whole experience. We have been fortunate to have been to Zambia many times through Expert Africa and Robin Pope Safaris and no two safaris are ever the same. There are always new sights smells and experiences.

This may have been our last safari as age is catching up on us on the journey out and back is long and tiring without a direct flight. Nevertheless if direct flights do return the temptation to return to Zambia may become too great to ignore.
