"The trip as a whole was wonderful, thanks to the great planning of Richard Trillo and anyone else who made this trip so easy and yet exciting.

My only negative comment was the lack of internet access. We had WiFi at Macushla House, which was great. My husband was happy to hear that I had arrived safetly. When we got to Offbeat Meru, I was told the the internet was "down" temporarily. I assumed this could not be avoided, but was concerned because I had not expected this.

We had WIFI and Sosian so I was once again in touch with my family. But at Offbeat Mara I could not contact my husband. I just wish I had been told this ahead of time so I would know what to expect." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 8 on a Kenya safari

"Although we were terribly disappointed by the lack of painted dog sightings, especially the puppies, we are obviously well aware that this type of experience can never be guaranteed or, indeed, booked in advance!

We thoroughly enjoyed Zimbabwe and would urge anyone considering a safari, particularly their first, to look at this majestic country. The country is on the mend and the guiding is first class.

"This was my first trip to Africa and my first safari. Everything about the trip exceeded my expectations. All the arrangements made by Expert Africa worked extremely well with no hiccups. I travelled with my daughter who had been on a previous safari with EA, although this time we stayed in different lodgings. The two lodgings we chose (Ruaha River Lodge and Lake Manze Camp) were very different, both in location and style of accommodation, and complemented each other very well.

I was overawed by the different animals and birds we saw and was very impressed with the quality of the guides. I just loved every minute of the trip.
