I visited South Africa and 1 other country between 15 Oct 2008 and 12 Nov 2008
"First of all we must say thankyou for such an excellent holiday. We had a wonderful time and Namibia in particular was everything we hoped and expected for our second visit to the country. Throughout the accommodation was excellent and the food made a considerable impression at many of the places we stayed - we have the extra pounds to prove it!

In short a very ejoyable and successful holiday with lots of highlights, too many to mention, although the Baboons at Augrabies Falls and the three days of Whale watching at Hermanus will be remembered for a very long time. Oceans Eleven at Hermanus and Camps Bay Retreat were very good recommendatins so thanks Tracy for all your good ideas and helpfulness.

It was a super holiday and getting back to reality is proving very hard We are already working on the next trip to Nambia. What more can we say!" Read full review: 28 nights in Africa; 14 on a South Africa trip

"A great holiday"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 13 Oct 2008 and 29 Oct 2008
"We look back on our holiday as a wonderful memory. It was certainly all we had hoped it would be, and felt that our wishes had been well understood and catered for.

Suggestions for improvement:

The only thing that springs to mind is to stress to clients the importance of having proper reef shoes for this kind of holiday. One doesn't appreciate how sticky the sea bottom is at low tide, and many people only have flip flops, which are disastrous.

Thank you for organising such a stress-free and enjoyable holiday!" Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 9 on a Tanzania safari

"Our Safari"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 13 Oct 2008 and 25 Oct 2008
"Another great time in Africa, it always fascinates and enthralls us. No problems with any of our arrangements inspite of a fairly convoluted itinerary. If anyone has discovered an effective way of dealing with tetse flies we would appreciate their advice. They were quite a problem on the Lower Zambezi this year!

Apart from the flies our only other grumble was having to pay £75 visa charge each for a 6 hour stay in Zambia while en-route to Namibia, and then being charged again when we returned 5 days later.

No, the service and trip lived up to our expectations." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 6 on a Zambia safari

"A family reunion to remember"

I visited South Africa between 12 Oct 2008 and 23 Oct 2008
"An ideal venue for a family reunion with something to cater for everyone's tastes. The party included two first-timers to Africa, and two relatively old hands, all of whom were more than satisfied.

Suggestions for improvement:

Keep us informed of any special rates or deals so we can go back!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 10 on a South Africa trip

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 11 Oct 2008 and 24 Oct 2008
"I don't think that you need to improve anything we were very pleased with our honeymoon, the first week safaris were so good that I cried when I got to Zanzibar as I wanted to go back to Sayari Camp!

You ensured that we had an unforgettable honeymoon, thank you for all your hard work, Joanne Ingle" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 6 on a Tanzania safari

"Si' s feedback"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 11 Oct 2008 and 29 Oct 2008
"I'm a terrible winge. Thea thought it was all fantastic & is now depressed. I got a couple of bluebottles off Echo which was educational. So did Andy which cheered me up, except mine wouldn't go down. Off Unguja it was like swimming through clouds of used condoms which were also a bit pricky, so I got spots on my spots. Elies gave me some anti histomine which calmed them down a bit. Also my guts gave out. Luckily everybody else was on honeymoon so mozzies were no problem. Up in Selous we copped some bad patches of tetse which came up very nicely & set off my jelly stings to perfection. Luckily these have all lasted quite well & Ive been able to show the girls in the office. By chance I read the blurb on Rufigi so we shot round Stone town pillaging the cash machines. A suitcase of Tshillings just about covered our bill at Rufigi but we were not prepared for Madze to be back in the 50s too & we just scraped by with a mottly mix of currencies. Richard was not happy. & neither was I. I hate paying real money. Not that Tshillings is real money. When I was a lad you could get a tusker for 3 bob, at Madze its 8124." "Tanzania (this year)"

I visited Tanzania between 9 Oct 2008 and 19 Oct 2008
"A very enjoyable trip. Selous Impala camp and Magwusi make a very good 'pair'. Four nights was a good time to stay.

"Excellent, apart from Sossus Dune Lodge. The distance between the airport and Erongo was a bit much, we thought, after an overnight flight, but Tracy tells me that there is nowhere suitable to stay in between." Read full review: 23 nights in Africa; 15 on a Namibia trip
