My Apr 2025 trip
Zimbabwe between 6 Apr 2025 and 16 Apr 2025
We didn't realise our transport from Vic Falls to Hwange would be so early so we lost out on some of the offerings at Vic falls Hotel, like a free massage we couldn't book and a morning river cruise we had hoped for. This early flight could have been communicated earlier for optimal day planning. But apart from that minor issue we were very pleased with everything as always!"

Somalisa Camp
"Somalisa Camp review"
Guiding was on the highest level experienced in Southern Africa and that says a lot.
The lodge staff was extremely friendly and exuded a fun, team-spirited atmosphere which can only come from great leadership.
We would return tomorrow if we could."

Nyamatusi Camp
"Nyamatusi Camp review"
Our guide here, Mash, was one of the best we've ever experienced in many years traveling to Southern Africa as working photographers and our walking approaches to all wildlife were unforgettable.
The location on the Zambezi River is fabulous."

My Aug 2022 trip
Zimbabwe between 8 Aug 2022 and 18 Aug 2022
We did ask the staff of Little Vundu to please stop using one way plastic bottles and use refillable bottles."

Little Vundu
"Little Vundu review"
The mopane woods beyond the lodge are incredibly beautiful and the elephants wander around the camp site perfectly relaxed. The camp has no unnecessary luxury distracting from the experience but absolutely anything one needs. The food was plenty and delicious.
One of the best guiding experiences we've ever had in Africa!"

Changa Safari Camp
"Changa Safari Camp review"
The only negative feedback is that it's got a bit less of a safari feel and more of a hotel/lodge.
We missed sharing a table with other guests but on the other hand enjoyed the catered experience for a romantic few days."

February kalahari/Chobe Trip
Botswana and 1 other country between 7 Feb 2018 and 17 Feb 2018
We were thrilled.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Expert Africa should add some images to both brochure and website to give people an even better idea of camps and more to look forward to."

Nxai Pan Camp
"Nxai Pan Camp review"
The rooms are lovely and clean, of a simplicity in furniture and the more beautiful for it. Very comfy beds! Food was excellent.
Our guide, Chester, being aware we are photographers, knew how to position his vehicle to put all our animals into the best light."

Tau Pan Camp
"Tau Pan Camp review"
We noticed how many other guests had little idea of it being a desert environment and thus were surprised at the infrequency of wildlife sightings. The sightings there are were spectacular however. The people are stellar from guides to management to kitchen."

Chobe Princesses
"Chobe Princesses review"
The guide was very good at spotting birds and animals and putting us into the right angles. We had the front facing room which was super.
There are differences in the cabins with the front one and upper deck one being a notch higher than side-cabins."
The rooms are beautifully appointed. The staff is very accommodating.
I regretted the loss of the direct footpath access to the Falls National Park."
