Expert Africa did a great job arranging our trip. We're so happy we went to the Serengeti during the great migration.
The trip left a indelible mark in our hearts and we can't wait to go on another safari.
If we had to choose our favorite experience it would be our stay at Olakira and our guide Daniel.
After seeing the gorillas in Rwanda & the great migration in the Serengeti going to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara was underwhelming. Although we didn't know and we might have felt we missed out on something. Overall, we can't say enough great things about our trip."

The opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close is truly a privilege.
The trekking experience itself was a adventure and I don't think we could have done it without the wonderful porters and guides.
Olakira

The camp itself is amazing. The spacious and well appointed tents seem to blend into the surroundings.The staff members each went out of their way to make our experience magical.
We were lucky enough to get Daniel as our guide and I honestly feel like we lucked into the very best guide in the Serengeti. We saw 3 large wildebeest crossings, herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelle, giraffes, a leopard, hippos, topi, oryax,waterbucks, eland, crocodiles, impala, cape buffalo & others I might have left out.
Just the number of animals we saw up close was shocking. The sights will be etched in our memory forever!
We can't thank the staff at Olakira enough for such a wonderful experience. It made such a impression on us that I would love the chance to stay with them during birthing season of the wildebeest when Olakira moves south."

The day we went we focused more on the birds then the animals.
Also, our guide didn't compare to our guide at Olakira.

It was well informative and the guide was exceptional.
Kigali and Rwanda in general has defied the odds and transformed itself in a success story.
It's natural beauty, warm and welcoming people and commitment to sustainability are amazing.
I don't think we saw a single piece of litter during our stay.
