Whilst staying in a tented mobile camp might sound like roughing it, a wilderness safari led by a knowledgeable and engaging private guide is often the highlight of a holiday. It’s really about the bush experience; yet all the creature comforts are there - comfortable beds, private bathrooms, wonderful service and excellent food. In this safari the private mobile camp takes in the varied and special landscapes of Moremi Game Reserve, renowned for memorable wildlife sightings.
The second camp is a permanent one with spacious, well designed rooms, a warm welcome and a pretty setting on the edge of the Okavango Delta’s waterways. Kanana Camp complements the mobile safari experience perfectly, allowing for the opportunity to explore on foot, by boat and dug-out canoe as well as on drives. Lion prides, elephant herds, varied birdlife, tiny colourful frogs, a heron’s rookery, the sought after Pel’s fishing owl and the elusive sitatunga… there’s much to look forward to on a visit here.
