Big Cat Fly-in Safari

Big Cat Fly-in Safari

This safari to the outstanding Lewa Conservancy in Laikipia in northern Kenya, and the Maasai Mara National Reserve, in south-western Kenya offers some of the very best wildlife watching anywhere in the world. As soon as you set off on any game drive out of either of these camps you are likely to encounter dozens of species of large mammals, from Maasai giraffe to plains zebra, and from spotted hyena to hippo and crocodile - as well as both black and white rhinos in Lewa, and the lions, leopards and cheetahs for which the Mara ecosystem is so famous.

To witness the great migration in the Maasai Mara, aim to visit between roughly between the end of July and the end of September when hundreds of thousands of migratory wildebeest crowd the plains and criss-cross the Mara River.

After your safari, if you want to relax on the beach, then add one of our beach add-on trips to the Kenya coast to your itinerary.
