"The South Luangwa in the Emerald Season"
In the Emerald Season, all is green and lush, whilst the game and the birdlife is as splendid as ever, with wonderful lighting for photography. Freddie Sutton organised our trip with his customary highly efficient and friendly way.
This was our tenth trip with Expert Africa - thank you all." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zambia safari
"My Feb 2018 trip"
As for the camps, Wilderness Camps are so well run and maintained. So far we have not seen any camps who can hold a candle to their standard. If we go back a 3rd time to Botswana or any of the other countries that have Wilderness camps...........we will go with Expert Africa and Wilderness Safari Camps.
It was wonderful working with Maruska Adye in New Zealand. We used her 5 years ago and were so delighted to work with her again. We truly appreciate Expert Africa's approach of good common sense when planning a trip and listening to what a customer thinks (ha!) they want versus what is realistic. All documents were spot on and we knew that all details were addressed. It was wonderful to be met by various individuals at the airports as one is never sure where to go in a new airport.
Thank you for a great trip!

Perhaps letting folks know what kind of power plug can be found in the camps. What is stated on a general query about plugs on the internet does not translate to what the camps have (ie. Bristish plug in Nkwali!)" Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari

"A fantastic experience"
"AFRICA 18 February and March"
We enjoyed everything, but the one thing that stands out is the charm, the efficiency and the helpfulness of all the staff everywhere. Well done South Africa! Come here and teach us a lesson.

"Emerald time in Africa every time"
The RPS lodges do offer "that extra bit" to guests and from excellent meals, personal issues sorted, and individual attention. A number of our drives were just the two of us and on the walks they were cleverly arranged that some could drop out early and be taken back to camp. We were very happy to walk for four hours which was not to every ones taste.
My, we were sad to go home." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari
"My Feb 2018 trip"
Thank you so much for helping us plan it on short notice and for being so flexible when we needed to make changes.
Your level of service and expertise are so appreciated and we will always use you to book our future travels to Africa." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip
"Kenya 2018"
"February 18 Kicheche safari"
Inevitably you meet other like-minded enthusiasts who are convivial and also enjoy the safari experience.
Expert Africa make the booking process easy and efficient and the arrangements always work seamlessly. I speak to travellers who use other consultants but I always recommend Expert Africa and I would not dream of asking anyone else to arrange my trips.

The information you supply is always accurate and informative. It helps that the EE team visit all the camps they recommend. Everyone at Expert Africa is knowledgeable, informative and friendly. I can't think how you could improve on what you already do." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 12 on a Kenya safari
"Pining for what could have been..."
The reason was the infestation of tsetse flies through the Lake Manyara/Tarangire/Serengeti area. These are not just a nuisance; they are a major problem, turning every game drive into a very painful and distressing endurance test. Totally impervious to any kind of insect repellent, swarms of tsetse flies descend upon people persistently biting at will on both uncovered and covered skin. Yes, they bite through your clothes, too. I ended up with my entire skin a mass burning welts - something that went from simple discomfort to sheer pain, only temporarily relieved by spells under cold showers, and eventually, towards the end of my trip, by some anti-histaminic pills and cream provided by the manageress at Lamai Serengeti.
I was not warned of this, something I find disconcerting from an outfit that advertises itself as Expert Africa and provides specialist consultants for each area. Surely clients are entitled to expect full and honest advice?" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Tanzania safari
