"Great trip.
All logistics worked.
The camps were exactly as billed.
The game was not quiet as plentiful as hoped for with a couple of very quiet days - impala, hippo and the odd elephant - but this is all part of the luck of safaris in large, remote parks with no or one/two other vehicles.
The pre-booking information such as no giraffe in Lower Zam was very valuable. Might be worth stressing more that there is no wifi or signal in the camps. This was not an issue for us at all.
Expert Africa have a good reputation with both Tafika and Potato Bush as an agent who knows what they are doing and for briefing their clients well. It was clear than some other agents are perceived less favourably.

"This holiday is virtually identical to the one we took in 2015. In last year's review we said that we had had the best holiday in over 40 years of travelling. This year's visit was at least as good if not better!

We continue to be very impressed by the quality of everything provided by Robin Pope Safaris. We would also like to mention the Tour Africa agents at Lusaka Airport. They met us and looked after us ensuring that our arrival and departure went smoothly for both domestic and international flights.

"overall experience was very good. we had a great time and saw all the wildlife we had hoped to see and more.

our only comment is that our original idea of starting at little kwara and finishing at savuti before the river boat would have been better. after nine days of jeep safaris any down time would have been better at savuti as you could watch wildlife at the waterhole. we think this would have worked better for us but may not suit other people." "I generally plan my trips myself without a lot of input from agents. This time I relied heavily on your company and felt I was well rewarded for doing so. I never would have visited Akagera, Katavi, Mahale, Ruaha, or the Selous on my own. I likely would have confined my itinerary in Tanzania to the Serengeti and maybe Ngorongoro Crater. I'm really lucky to have taken James' advice.

In fact, one of my guides in the Serengeti was extremely impressed with my chosen itinerary, commenting that he didn't see many tourists who went that route.

"All went well through the whole trip, would have been nice to be able to have spent a day in Dar as an extra day.

As I said before everyone was helpful and friendly, the guides were excellent, again the only down side was the day flight back to Heathrow, but that out of your control.

"As this was a return trip to the same camps as 18 months previously we were concerned that we may not be so enthalled. This was certainly not the case - we were welcomed back magnificently and had the time of our lives and saw some amazing sights.

The trip organisation went without a hitch, we especially appreciated being meet by Tours Africa on arrival into Lusaka and had to be rushed through immigration/visa etc as flight was late coming in. "Ruaha has a lot to offer in June which is a transition month between the dry and green seasons and as such is chilly in the mornings and evenings but lovely and warm during the day.

While game is a bit more difficult to see at this time, nevertheless it is far more abundant in the Mwagusi area rather than in the Jongomero area.

Of the two camps Jongomero is more luxurious and while its isolated position means there are no vehicles from other camps, this isn't the most important criterion for a true wilderness experience.
