House on the Beach: picture gallery

House on the Beach is an ideal beach location for a family or group.
Accessed down sandy tracks from the main coast road…
…the house stands on its own, in large gardens…
…and has very helpful, dedicated staff on site.
The outstanding asset here is the large, deep swimming pool…
…and plenty of pool-side seating.
Most guests will want to eat by the pool…
…and the meals here are also a highlight, with breakfast always a colourful start.
Behind the pool, coral caves…
…lead down steps to a cool play area…
…like a grotto, ideal for table tennis and other ball games.
The whole pool area is perfect for meals, parties and just relaxing.
The pool is close to the north end of the house, accessed down a short flight of steps.
The main access to the house is from the back…
In the middle of the day, you may want to retreat from the heat to the cool lounge…
…but there's a lovely terrace…
…looking out to sea…
…with plenty of chill-out spots, including a hammock.
On each side of the lounge is a large, master bedroom…
…with plenty of good furniture…
…and its own bathroom…
…and separate toilet tucked just outside the room.
One room has twin beds…
…and they both have window bars.
At the back of the lounge…
…a spiral staircase leads up…
…to the top floor.
Here, two further bedrooms are ideal for children, or anyone who doesn't mind…
…the lack of privacy, as the upstairs rooms don't have walls…
…and are lightly screened off by drapes.
Nevertheless, the unhindered views out to sea from one room…
…and over the pool from the other…
…mean that these rooms remain attractive, and their bathrooms…
…are very convenient.
The walk-in showers are no great shakes, but quite adequate.
The upstairs rooms are connected by a landing above the lounge…
…that runs beneath an attractively decorated back wall.
Most of your time is likely to be spent outside…
…down on the beach…
…which is perfect at any time of day, and particularly beautiful at dawn.
