Fantastic trip to a country of stark beauty

"The trip was a very memorable and one that generally exceeded expectations. We had been planning to do a trip to Namibia for years and this was worth the wait.
The trip was well planned to get a very good 'flavour' of Namibia in the time period chosen, with a good cross-section of 'experiences' etc"

"Very friendly staff and you are made to feel welcome.
Chalets and view are excellent and hospitality very good.
Food and beverage was very good.
Location relative to the dunes and Sossusvlei excellent.
Would have liked a bit more time to find the dune lark-bird sighting.
Guide to Sossusvlei was very good and friendly. Excursion a bit more expensive than one would expect for 8 people"

"The room we were allocated was very clean and neat but a trifle small.
The breakfast was excellent and hosts very friendly and hospitable.
The Guesthouse is well located relative to the beachfront and the town
The excursion to Sandwich Harbour was excellent as was the guide Ernst Ritter. Very good birding there and at Walvis Bay.
Restaurants-The Jetty -very good with excellent service. The Tug- food excellent service not as good and wine a bit pricey given the quality."

"This is an oasis in the desert.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly indeed.
The excursion to see the Damara elephants was rewarded with a good sighting late in the afternoon. Very memorable.

"The Chalet was superbly located but has some strange design quirks. The kitchenette should have a sink and microwave plus a kettle with a cord that can reach the plug from the counter surface.
Both bedrooms should have a view of the waterhole and top floor should be soundproofed better.
Food was good with salads very good and dining area pleasant. Service -very average"
