All was the same, except we all had hot water.
Nice way stop accommodation.
Nice ambiance, food, and staff. One of our group had issues with the hot water in the shower.
Lovely B&B at Villa Violet.
This is a high class B&B at a location in Windhoek convenient for the city centre and the road to the airport.
The service, rooms and food were excellent. We arrived early afternoon following a long drive from Etosha and luxuriated in resting on the beds whilst watching the Euros (international ‘soccer’ for our transatlantic friends) on TV.
Comfortable city stay at Villa Violet
Very pretty place in a nice, quiet area of Windhoek. We enjoyed a walk around the area at sunset.
Friendly staff, comfortable room and great breakfast! Free tea and coffee provided 24/7. Only minor issue was a leaky shower door.
Welcoming starting point for our trip
I would like to say that the stay was very good because there were some excellent points about the accommodation (e.g. the friendly welcome and breakfast) but our room had a couple of defects.
We had to ask the proprietor to attend to a continually flushing toilet and TV that did not work
Charming. Great breakfast. Good service.
A delightful, comfortable accommodation choice. Service was friendly and the breakfast excellent.Read more about the whole trip

Villa Violet review
Rooms are a bit public - all open onto the same verandah/central area. Pool is not attractive.
Normal breakfast was fine but packed breakfast was inedible.
Expert Africa comments
We have been in touch with the owners of Villa Violet who were very sorry that these travellers found the breakfast pack inedible.
The owners have assured us that they will take great care to ensure that the breakfast packs are as good as possible.
Namibia's municipality has issued a hosepipe ban across the country for the foreseeable future due to drought conditions and it has become mandatory that pool covers be used and filling private pools has been banned. This unfortunately makes it harder for the owners to maintain their pools to a high standard.
