A nice oasis in Windhoek on way to airport
Villa Violet is a little green oasis with private garden and open commons areas for relaxing and breakfast.
Parking is secure and convenient, and rooms are small but well equipped. The staff is helpful in dinner arrangements and providing advice on taxis and getting around Windhoek.
The location is in a nicely upscale neighborhoods, which means everything is behind electric fences and barbed wire, but it is conveniently located on a fairly quiet street.
good location and nice room

This was the first stop on our trip and we were disappointed that there was no soap or shampoo for the shower.
After traveling for 3 days, we were really hoping for a good, hot shower.
Good first stop
Just a great place to spend the first night at, just incase you lost your luggage or some other issues with the car rental company.
Good place to pick up everything before heading out for Namibia drive.
Perfect place for our arrival in Windhoek
We stayed one night in Villa Violet at the beginning of our journey.
We arrived relatively late (around 19h) but the gatekeeper was immediately available to let us in and show us our room. He also directed us to a nearby service station and arranged for a taxi to a restaurant. Breakfast the next day was good.
Overall, their service is very good and the lodge ensures a good night's rest after an exhausting flight.
Villa Violet review
An excellent place to stay at either the beginning or end of a holiday.
The manager able to suggest a restaurant and book a taxi for us - nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms very clean and well kept
Great place for first night in Windhoek
Really liked Villa Violet.
Comfortable rooms and friendly hosts, ideal for the first night in preparation for the driving to come.
Comments were given earlier for our first stay.
All was the same, except we all had hot water.
Nice way stop accommodation.
Nice ambiance, food, and staff. One of our group had issues with the hot water in the shower.
Lovely B&B at Villa Violet.
This is a high class B&B at a location in Windhoek convenient for the city centre and the road to the airport.
The service, rooms and food were excellent. We arrived early afternoon following a long drive from Etosha and luxuriated in resting on the beds whilst watching the Euros (international ‘soccer’ for our transatlantic friends) on TV.
