"Overall, we had the most incredible experience during the Emerald Season in Zambia. This area, which surely feels remote and wild in the dry season, felt like an even more special adventure because of how inaccessible the area comes due to flooding.

Each drive and boat ride was an adventure, and we loved the atmosphere and unpredictability of the rainy days. Watching the mighty Luangwa river rise, and getting rained out of one camp proved to be an adventure, and our broken down boat will be a night to remember forever! We had marvellous sightings of lions and leopards and enjoyed the lush, green background provided.

"All aspects of our trip to Tanzania ran smoothly as per the arrangements made by Expert Africa. My wife has mobility and dietary requirements which were managed satisfactorily.

The roads in Dar are not adequate to manage the volume of traffic so journeys take much longer than might be indicated by the distance. The airport is poor but a new one has been built and will hopefully be opening soon.

We have done a lot of safaris and prefer places that are more remote and uncrowded but with good facilities. Selous was a good choice in this regard. We did get to see wildlife but obviously not the volumes of the Serengeti etc." Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 4 on a Tanzania safari

"More honest guidance on what’s at each camp/ site. Feel some bias based on availability at camps.

"We had a wonderful trip. It was our first safari in east Africa and something we will do again. In the past we have self driven and we were wary of being with a guide but Esto was excellent and knowledgeable. In particular he did not join large groups of vehicles around the big ticket wildlife causing them stress but drove on and found us something else that we could watch quietly." "Very well put together by Expert Africa. Professional, helpful and considerate staff.

Well chosen variety of accommodation and locations. We felt we had explored and got to know a great deal of what Namibia has to offer.

Pleasantly surprised that the temperatures were manageable and thought that the low season was a good time to visit because of the lack of other visitors.
