"I would thoroughly recommend my trip to Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park to everybody. The wildlife and landscape of each was incredibly different, but the two regions of Tanzania complimented each other perfectly.

I visited during the green season, so the wildlife was quite spread out, so if you want large congregations of wildlife it may be best to visit during the dry season. Although, the green season is the best time for breeding and migratory birds. If you are passionate about elephants however, Ruaha is the place to visit, as I must have seen hundreds. I was very pleased with my choices of camps too, and also it was perfect to stay at the wilder, more rustic Lake Manze first of all, followed by a bit more comfort and luxury at Ikuka. I enjoyed staying at both immensely, in different ways.

Finally, a few nights at Amani Beach at the end of my trip, gave me a chance to relax and unwind before my long journey home.

Finally, I would like to thank Expert Africa, in particular Freddie Sutton, who helped me design my itinerary, and worked very hard to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for. "This was a special trip for our Grandson Toby to celebrate his 21st birthday and originally just myself ( Grandad ) and Toby. However my wife ( Elaine ) managed to come at the last minute and this must have taken a bit of organising so thank you Expert Africa !

Toby`s comments..well " The best week of my life " and one day when we saw a baby impala being born and so many other things was his " best day of my life ".

We all really enjoyed the whole experience and loved the Conservancies and their concept. A very big thank you to Olivia for suggesting these and it was perfect for Toby. A guided walk was one of the highlights and an experience not to be missed.

A superb holiday and we could not fault it !!

No problems at all with the camps dealing with gluten free meals they were meticulous and we were very impressed with this.

"We started with an outline of what we wanted to do on this trip and then sat back and let Richard Trillo fine tune all the details. Everything worked in the most extraordinary fashion, so seamlessly, that one could have imagined this was a trip arranged and run countless times, not just for us.

From Richard's front-end suggestion to stay at Macushla House and have a driver to explore around Nairobi, to the last days at Sarara appreciating the remarkable conservation successes achieved through a joint venture with the Samburu people, I wouldn't change one thing.

"All the organisation and arrangements for this holiday, from initial discussion and booking till we got home, worked perfectly.

It was our first visit to Kenya, and one of our best holidays ever. We enjoyed our stay at Elephant Bedroom but Kicheche Mara
is a special place.

"Namibia is an extraordinary country most memorable for the astonishing scenery and its remoteness.

We had expected it to be under-populated, but were surprised to find most of the country devoid of humanity. It also seemed to be largely devoid of wildlife other than for the desert adapted animals in the Namib and in and around Etosha.

We stayed in a range of Lodges with differing levels of comfort, but all of them in remarkable locations, making for a very memorable journey round the country.

"From our initial contact with Expert Africa to the conclusion of our trip, the service we received, primarily from Sabina, was outstanding and excellent in every respect. We had an initial problem with our Hire Car and Sabina took it upon herself without prompting to resolve the matter....in our opinion going above and beyond the call of duty to resolve matters to our complete satisfaction.

"The majestic landscapes. The rich culture. The contagious joy from locals. Africa is magical! It gets down in your soul and you fall in love. Tanzania was perfect and having the opportunity to do both a safari in the Serengeti and a beach holiday in Zanzibar was a spectacular way to see this glorious country. We felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. We can’t wait to return for another African adventure.

Expert Africa is a great company to work with and our agent Maruska did a fantastic job arranging our trip! The safari camp and hotels she chose for us were a perfect match for our taste and personalities. Everything was arranged including all shuttles. We had no worries (acuna matata). "We loved Namibia.

Tom from Expert Africa did a great job at tailor making our 4x4 self drive.

Overall, the distances between camps are huge, and the standard of accommodation was really good. We would do less and stay longer perhaps driving less and flying more. But Namibia is spectacular and driving gave us a real sense for how varied the landscape is.

"We were very impressed by the country it’s cleaness the smiles of the people, seeing them walking on the road was an experience the way they are so beautifully dressed with all those colors.

One thing was a bit annoying was the tipping, so munch for the ranger so much for the trackers so much for the porters, we would have liked to pay more and to have everything included.
