Bandas (Swahili: small house) offer a unique and truly coastal holiday.

The Chale Bandas are palm thatched, individual bungalows with large bathrooms and an enchanting view over the beach and the Ocean. In addition, they offer a small private garden area with sun loungers and a terrace with Swahili daybeds. All units are furnished in traditional style and feature sea views, individually controlled air- conditioning, fan, shower / WC, terrace.

Overwater Suite

The Overwater Suite is unique in Kenya and offers amazing sunsets over the Indian Ocean. This extravagant suite is equipped with bathrobes, drinking water dispenser (inclusive), mini bar (fee), a living room, a large bedroom and a bathroom from where you each have direct access to the terrace. Carefully set into the natural environment, 12 double rooms are located in the main building next to the Galana pool and 28 spacious semicircular double rooms in 2 towers each with 4 floors. All units are furnished in traditional style and feature sea views, individually controlled air- conditioning, shower / WC, balcony or terrace.

Suite on the Rocks

The Suite on the Rocks is a generously landscaped bungalow on a small separate island and a bridge to the main island is connected. The suite has a loft-style bedroom / living room with connected bathrooms, bathrobes, bottled water dispenser (inclusive) and a Mini bar (extra charge). From the thatched roof, the rainwater flows into a mini garden in the center of the suite. A circular staircase leads to the upper gallery. On the terrace with sun loungers and day beds is a Jacuzzi which is lapped by the waves of the Indian Ocean wild or gentle depending on tides.
