The Sands At Nomad: picture gallery

The Sands at Nomad is set on a lovely stretch of Diani Beach.
Its rooms are spread through its gardens…
…some of them free-standing and some terraced or in blocks.
All have access to the grassy lawns and lovely beachfront.
The Suites are the lodge's big rooms, occupying the first floor of a larger house….
… with more space in the bedrooms...
…a lounge area and a terrace outside.
Then the Cottages are free standing, but smaller than the Suites.
Friendly staff man the reception throughout the day...
…which is furnished with quirky Swahili and East African furniture.
This bar serves food throughout the day and stays open quite late.
The pool area is next to the bar, and an unusual design...
…with limited lounging space, which is made up for by all the loungers by the sea.
The Sands at Nomad also has a spa offering a variety of treatments….
… including massages by fully trained staff.
There is a well stocked shop...
… with lots of curios on offer.
For the active there is also a dive centre on site….
… and water sports centre too.
Many people will choose to go diving and snorkelling over the reefs nearby.
A further bar and restaurant is on the other side of the hotel…
…serving a variety of cuisines from around the world...
..with formal tables, and more relaxed sofas for those just grabbing a snack.
There is also outside seating, with shady parasols for when the sun is out.
