Our trip was amazing!! Beyond expectations!!

"Our trip was amazing!! Beyond expectations!! The people we met and spent time with enhanced our trip. Isaac, who was waiting for us when we reached Nairobi. Isaac toured us around for a couple of days and was a pleasure spending time with him.
Manfred our guide at the Leopard Hill Basecamp was Excellent. He is very experienced at guiding and a pleasure to be around. We had many questions. Manfred answered them all with sincerity and patience.
Shema was with for our entire time in Rwanda. What a great man. We spent many hours driving from the most Northern Region of Rwanda to the Southern Region. We felt safe and confident with Shema behind the wheel. He was always on time. Always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. He took care of us and we are so thankful to have met him.
Thank you to everyone involved in our trip. What an experience. Life changing!!
We hope to be back in Kenya and Rwanda soon to see our new friends again!!

"The Basecamp Leopard Hill was an amazing experience.
The accommodation were beyond our expectation. We loved the coffee delivered in the morning with the homemade banana muffins. The hot water bottles awaiting us in our bed every night was a great touch. Loved the indoor/outdoor showers.
The staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. The food was excellent. The chef and his staff were outstanding.
Our guide Manfred was excellent. He is very experience guiding for the safaris. He put us in the ideal positions to view the animals over and over again. He could anticipate the movements of the animals. It was a pleasure spending 5 days with Manfred. Such a nice man!!"

"The rooms were great! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast included was excellent. The enjoyed a beer at outside Bar next to the pool. Great views overlooking the city.
This was the start of our visit in Rwanda. We were pickup at the airport by Robert and Shema. We were greeted with huge smiles and warm welcome. Shema stayed with us for our entire 7 days in Rwanda. We cannot say enough about this man. Shema enhanced our trip and we are forever greatful.
He took us the Genocide Museum. What humbling experience."

Of all the Treks we experience, this was the most difficult.
We trekked 20kms and 5 hours to see the Chimps. Worth every step! In Vancouver BC, Canada were we are from, we are at sea level. The 8000 elevation above sea level was factor. Would do it over and over again.
Our guide and Trackers did an amazing job.

The canopy walk was great.
It was not long but I must say I'm not comfortable walking on suspended bridges that move. Nonetheless, it was an amazing experience.
We did the canopy walk and chimps back to back. Would not do this again.

"We had a great time at Mountain Gorilla View lodge. We felt safe! The freestanding cottages were outstanding.
We loved the wood burning fireplace that they lit every night. Loved the hot water bottles placed in our bed every night.
The staff and could not do enough for us. The chef did a great job. The food was excellent. Its a great location. Just a short walk to the Dian Fossey Museum. Highly recommend visiting the Museum.
The local people performed dance and song every night. They were so good. We danced with them. Amazing to see."

We certainly enjoyed the Trek to Dian Fossey's place of rest.
It was inspiring to walk the same path as Dian. The guide was great. Not a difficult trek.

OMG!! It was so exciting!! It only took about an hour to find the Gorillas. Our adrenaline was flying. We watched in amazement. We were so close to them. In fact, one touched me and one stepped on my sons foot.
We viewed moms, babies(3 weeks), and of course the silver back. So intimidating!! Could have watched them for hours!! A must see!!

The Golden Monkey trek was the least demanding.
They are very close to the edge of the forest. There were so many.
Loved every minute.
