Busanga Bushcamp: video gallery

Busanga Bushcamp: picture gallery

The Busanga Bushcamp accommodates up to eight guests in four pole-and-thatch chalets.
The camp is on a small island, under giant sycamore figs, date palms and sausage trees.
The comfortable rooms are simply decorated using natural materials...
… and natural colours.
All rooms have an en-suite bathroom...
... with a nice indoor shower.
Soap, shampoo and cotton dressing gowns are also provided.
Each chalet has a private veranda with a wonderful view over the surrounding plains…
… where you can relax and enjoy the nature.
This is the camps main area…
… which includes a well-stocked bar…
… and small reference library with games.
There is also a drink station where tea and coffee are always available.
Further back is the dining boma where brunch is usually taken after the morning activity.
Lunch is usually a buffet, as is breakfast although dinner is served to your table.
In front of camp is the campfire, where guests often gather together before dinner.
Day-and-night drives are done in open 4WD vehicles, and are the main activity here.
The Busanga Plains are home to a variety of interesting birds and animals.
You may see a cheetah bathing in the sun - a rare opportunity in Zambia…
… an elephant passing by…
… or impressive crowned cranes walking across the plains.
Though the area around Busanga Bushcamp is particularly well known for lion sightings.
